Ode to my lover, by Rae Benson
i whispered softly my prayer
as he silently replied sliding a hand down
touching my thigh letting fingers dip and curve on flesh
taking his time savoring the everlasting delight
wondering slowly while my skin burned
my heart raced
he said he loves me
while arms lock
hands grip
fingers choke
air stops
he brought me to heaven
and i howled out
